What part of a wedding day do you quietly prepare for the most — even if the couple never notices?

I always make sure I have all the important information at my fingertips. I actually save the running order, family names and any special details as my phone's lock screen for that wedding day and honestly, it's a game-changer! It saves so much time compared to scrolling through notes or emails in the moment.

What’s something you always make sure couples feel on the day, no matter how busy things get?

I want my couples to feel stress-free and fully in the moment. We all know how fast a wedding day flies by and I want them to enjoy every second without feeling rushed or like they need to "perform" for the camera. My goal is for them to trust me completely to capture them in an authentic and beautiful way.

When plans shift (as they always do), what helps you make good decisions for everyone involved?

It's really important to adapt quickly, work collaboratively with the creative team and always keep the couple at the heart of any decisions. I love working with a strong team who can communicate well and problem solve together in those moments. I actually thrive in those scenarios. There's something energising about finding creative solutions on the fly!

What’s a small wedding-day moment that reminds you why you love doing this work?

When you know you’ve captured something truly beautiful. It's usually an unplanned, in-between moment that naturally unfolds between the couple or with a family member. Those are pure gold! When I see it in the edit, it's a total "yes!" moment that reminds me exactly why I do this.

How would you want a couple to describe working with you after the wedding is over?

I love when couples say that I made them feel at ease and that they genuinely enjoyed having me there. I always want my couples to feel relaxed and actually be present in their day. It means they then get the surprise later of how much beautiful content I've captured for them (which does happen often!).
